Banjo Parts
New Wire Armrest for Openback Banjo. After 5 years working with a manufacturer's representative and several manufacturers, we are now able to announce the availability of a reproduction of the vintage adjustable wire banjo armrest at an affordable price. Gotoh 2 band nickel plated planetary tuners with black or off white button. The smoothest banjo tuner made for under $100 a set. Cost; $60 per set of 4. Buy 2 or more sets and the price is $55 per set. Schaller Geared 5th string banjo tuner. Ours have a modern Ivoroid knob, but any knob can be substituted. $26 each
Small Shaft Banjo Planet Banjo Tuners. Inspired by the original Planet banjo tuners made by Ludwig in the 1920's, these German made tuners are the perfect upgrade to your vintage instrument. The shaft diameter is 7.5mm (.290"), making it a little bigger than 9/32" (.281"). After being out of production for about 2 years they have been reintroduced with a little reengineering, making them smoother than ever. They come with a pearloid knob, but we can substitute (at additional charge) any new or vintage knob we offer. Cost is $90 for a set of 4 in nickel plating.
Pegheds geared tuners for banjos. These tuners look like ebony friction pegs, but on the inside there is an ingenious planet gear system. The best way to gear up your old Buckbee fretless. $90 per set of 5.We stock the 7mm and 8mm sizes. The knobs on our Pegheds tuners are hand made ebony. we sort through to make sure the knob shapes match as close as we can.
Custom Pegheds geared tuners for banjos. We asked the manufacturer to install custom knobs on a few sets of Pegheds Tuners. We have yellow ivoroid, white ivoroid, and amber knobs attached to 7mm pegs. These really look sharp. $150 per set of 5.

1952 Kluson 3 on a plate tuners. This set has buttons that are shrinking, but they are still functional. $40
New Kluson 3 on a plate reproduction tuners. Black or White buttons, made in Japan and they work much better than the Chicago made originals; $50 per set
